I've been spending most of my free-time illustrating my dad's phone poems (more on what that is later!) for a children's book we're working on together. I thought I'd post one to show how they start out. In this image you can see the light blue lines which are the initial sketch. After that's done and I have a sense of where the text is going to go, I start detailing by using solid black. Color comes next!
